Wat is RSS

What is RSS?

In a world heaving under the weight of billions of web pages, keeping up to
date with the information you want can be a drag. Wouldn't it be better to have
the latest news and features delivered directly to you, rather than clicking
from site to site? Well now you can, thanks to a very clever service, RSS.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for distributing and gathering
content from all over the Web, like news stories and magazine articles.

RSS feeds are used to bring you the latest information directly, usually
including a headline, summary and a link to the full article.

How can I use RSS?

To use RSS, you need a separate RSS news reader (similar to a web browser)
that will allow you to collect and display RSS feeds.

Adding a feed to your reader

  1. right-click the
    icon of a feed
  2. choose "Copy shortcut" to copy the link to the clipboard (IE)
  3. use this link in your reader to add the feed
